The narrative based on the book “The Brave New World” is given below.
What is the narrative?Dear Journal,
I find myself imprisoned in this sterile and colorless cell, with nothing but a pen and paper to keep me company. It seems that the world outside has deemed me a criminal for my refusal to conform to their ways. But I cannot help but feel a sense of relief and freedom now that I am away from that dystopian nightmare that they call the Brave New World.
In this world, there is no true humanity left, no genuine love or passion. The people are programmed to believe that they are happy, but it is a false happiness, one that is bought and sold by the government. They live for nothing but pleasure, consuming and discarding as they please, with no regard for the consequences.
But I cannot live like that. I cannot live in a world where love and sacrifice are unknown concepts. I am a man of passion and feeling, and I refuse to suppress those emotions just because it does not fit their model of society.
It is true that I have made mistakes. I have acted out in anger and frustration, but it was only because I could not bear to see the world around me. I could not bear to see the truth of their existence, a life devoid of meaning and purpose.
And now, as I sit in this cell, I can only think of one thing. I must escape. I must find a way to break free from this world that has imprisoned me. I must fight for what I believe in, for the truth of what it means to be human.
Perhaps it is a fool's dream, but I cannot help but hold on to hope. Hope that there are others out there who see the world as I do, who are willing to stand up and fight for a better future. And if there are not, then I will be the one to lead the way.
For I am John the Savage, and I will not be silenced.

Select two details that suggest Odysseus has a taste for unnecessary danger.
Two details that suggest Odysseus has a taste for unnecessary danger are are 'he chooses to hear the Sirens rather than put wax in his ears' and 'he hides himself from the Cyclops beneath the wooliest ram'. Therefore, the correct option is A and B.
Details that suggest Odysseus has a taste for unnecessary danger are:
1. He chooses to hear the Sirens rather than put wax in his ears. Having heard the Sirens’ call, Odysseus falls prey to their temptation to learn the secrets of the world. Instead of ignoring the warning and putting wax in his ears, he chooses to hear the sirens' singing to get to know about the world's secrets. It is, therefore, one of the many instances where Odysseus chooses to put himself in danger.
2. He hides himself from the Cyclops beneath the wooliest ram. After the Cyclops, Polyphemus, realizes that his eye is blind, Odysseus and his men devise a plan to escape. They will blind the Cyclops, but they can't do it because he is blocking their way. Odysseus comes up with the idea of concealing themselves under the sheep. So, Odysseus decides to hide himself under the wooliest ram, putting himself in danger if the ram makes a sound and reveals their location.
Note: The question is incomplete. The complete question probably is: Select two details that suggest Odysseus has a taste for unnecessary danger. Yes, the lesson she learned helped her later on in life as she became an advocate for education and stood up against injustice and corruption.

a speaker's conclusion based on statistics about local businesses
a statistic showing the most successful local business
a historical document showing the date a local business was established
a speaker's story about a personal experience at a local business
Answer:
Explanation:
A speaker's conclusion based on statistics about local businesses is an example of logical evidence. Logical evidence uses facts, statistics, and other evidence to support a logical conclusion. In this example, the speaker is drawing a conclusion based on statistical evidence about local businesses, which is a logical way to support their argument or claim. The other options listed are not necessarily based on logical evidence: a statistic showing the most successful local business may be a form of statistical evidence, but it doesn't necessarily support a logical conclusion or argument; a historical document showing the date a local business was established may be interesting information, but it doesn't necessarily support a logical conclusion or argument; and a speaker's story about a personal experience at a local business may be persuasive, but it doesn't necessarily provide logical evidence to support an argument or claim.
