joe is a member of future farmers of america (ffa), so for his demonstration speech he wanted to show his audience the proper way to groom and care for his prize-winning holstein cattle. instead of bringing a holstein to class, what does the textbook suggest as the best option for joe?

Answers

Answer:

As it might not be possible to bring a Holstein to class, the textbook advises Joe to utilise visual aids to show how to properly clean and care for his cow. This might include a slideshow or movie that demonstrates how to groom and take care of the Holstein step-by-step. Joe might also bring grooming tools and supplies and explain their use and significance during the grooming procedure. Even if he is unable to bring the prize-winning Holstein to class, Joe may still effectively teach the procedures and methods required to care for the animal through the use of visual aids and practical examples.

Explanation:

Joe is a member of Future Farmers of America (FFA) and wants to show his audience the proper way to groom and care for his prize-winning Holstein cattle.

Instead of bringing a Holstein to class, the textbook suggests the best option for Joe is a visual aid such as a poster or a slideshow. Dog Training Me?
by Bryan Ellett

My new dog is a mutt, or a mix of breeds, most likely a mix between a basset hound and a beagle. No one knows for sure, though. His name is Capote, and he is a really attractive dog, small but sturdy. He has great posture and always looks proud, sticking his chest out slightly and standing tall. There is only one problem, but it’s a big problem: he won’t fetch.

Actually, it’s worse than that. Not only will he not fetch, he’s making me play his game! I throw the ball, and Capote goes running after it, as if fetch is the thing in the world he most enjoys. He begins bringing the ball back to me, but then he runs right past me. I follow him, reaching for the ball and trying to pull it out of his mouth, but he keeps turning away from me, teasing me with the ball! He’s not playing fetch; he’s playing “come chase me!” And he’s training me to do it, too!

Once I realized this, I read some books, and I’ve changed my strategy. If he runs past me with the ball, I don’t follow him, and I don’t reach for the ball. Instead, I turn my back on him and ignore him. He really does like to play, so me ignoring him is a tremendous punishment! Eventually, he’ll bring the ball over to me, and once he does, I immediately throw it. That way, he knows that he’ll be rewarded with another throw if he brings me the ball. He is not a perfect fetch player yet, but I can now tell that one day he will be!

The center has played an important role in bringing the United States into the 21st century through technological inventions and scientific discoveries. The people who work at JSC have made advances in science, technology, engineering, and medicine. This has helped people explore our world and outer space and gain endless knowledge from that exploration.
2 The Johnson Space Center was established in 1961 as the Manned Spaceflight Center. It was the home and Mission Control Center for the U.S. human spaceflight program. In 1973, it was renamed in honor of the late President, and Texas native, Lyndon B. Johnson. The Johnson Center's complex occupies 1,620 acres of land southeast of downtown Houston. JSC presently serves as the home of mission control, lead for NASA's International Space Station operations and missions, home to the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, and base for many other advanced human exploration projects.
3 The Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center holds several artifacts that are worth a visit. For example, several historic space capsules are on display at the space center. They include the Faith 7 Mercury capsule flown by Gordon Cooper; Gemini 5, flown by Gordon Cooper and Pete Conrad; and the Apollo 17 Command Module, flown to the Moon and back by Gene Cernan, Ronald Evans, and Harrison Schmitt. NASA's latest-generation space capsule, Orion, is also on display.
4 Along with the space capsules, the JSC holds the famous Lunar Module; it hangs from the ceiling. This spacecraft, named LTA-8, served as a test unit for astronaut training. The spacecraft from which six astronauts descended to the surface of the Moon had the same design as LTA-8. Their Lunar Modules acted as their base while on the Moon. Later, it helped them return to the Lunar Orbit when their stay was over. The Apollo 13 Lunar Module acted as a lifeboat after that flight's Service Module was damaged. It helped the crew return safely to Earth.
5 NASA's robots called Robonauts are also designed at the Johnson Space Center. One such robot is currently at the International Space Station. The Space Vehicle Mockup Facility in Building 9 at the space center is a good place to see the Robonauts. Some tours let people see the inside of the building from above. Other special tours take people across the building floor for a close-up look at Robonauts and other wonders at the space center.

What is the fallacy about?

One of the logical fallacies that Joey employs is called "Appeal to Pity" or "Ad Misericordiam." This fallacy is when someone tries to win an argument by making the other person feel sorry for them, rather than by presenting a logical case.

Joey uses this fallacy when he tells his friends about the sorry state of his old fridge, which has been making strange noises and causing him to lose food. He tries to appeal to their emotions and make them feel sorry for him, hoping that they will lend him the money he needs.

What do the tread marks look like if they are being compared to tapa designs?

Answers

When tread marks are compared to tapa designs, they may appear as linear patterns or lines that resemble the intricate designs found in tapa cloth.

What does tread marks seem like when compared to tapa designs?

Tapa designs are traditional patterns and motifs found in Polynesian bark cloth, a type of textile made from the inner bark of trees. The tapa design's lines can be parallel, intersecting or curved, depending on the direction and movement of the vehicle that created the tread marks.

Also, like tapa designs, tread marks may vary in size, shape and depth, and can leave unique imprints that can be used to identify the type of vehicle or equipment that created them. Comparing tread marks to tapa designs can be helpful for forensic investigators and law enforcement officials in analyzing tire tracks at a crime scene or accident site to determine the type of vehicle involved, its speed, and direction of travel.
