a narrative essay about commitment?
Answer:
Hello! Hope this helps you :)
When you make a commitment, especially one to yourself, you begin to strengthen your mind in ways that opens new possibility. Without cutting corners, no excuses, and no games. Once you look at the overall picture of what you seek to achieve within your life, you gain what is called “tunnel vision” which, nothing seems to be impossible. However, if your focus is on getting through the day, and thinking about what’s for dinner, just passing this semester only in college, or getting any job then you aren’t going to achieve your potential. Albert Einstein said “Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value. Think about your purpose. Think about what you can commit to, no matter what. As a student, I feel that my success will rely on the fact that I need to approach my studies as if I were in that profession and nothing less. People misuse the word commitment word daily as by just getting one good grade on a test. This is not how commitment should be defined as because of to how small of a challenge that is. Commitment is defined as a promise to do or give something. It’s going to take time to understand the quote, but I know what I need to do to take the steps in order to get where I’m trying to go and what to become later down the line. Nothing ever came easy for me and I don’t expect it to, but I can say I will enjoy and have that grasp of air where I can look back and say Thank You to myself, my family, and those who help me along the way. When you really want something you don’t need someone to light the fire that will happen because you understand what needs to be done and no make any excuses at anytime. To fully understand what Ken Blanchard quote you must actually do it and go in commit to do what you are trying to accomplish. Sometimes it 's the journey that teaches you a lot about your destination and who you are as a person.

Modernism can be defined as a break with artistic and intellectual norms in Western culture. Discuss the influence of modernist thought on the literature of the period.
Modernism, in the fine arts, a break with the past and the concurrentsearch for new forms of expression. Modernism fostered a period of experimentation in the arts from the late 19th to the mid-20th century, particularly in the years following World War I.In an era characterized by industrialization, the nearly global adoption of capitalism, rapid social change, and advances in science and the social sciences (e.g., Freudian theory), Modernists felt a growing alienation incompatible with Victorian morality, optimism, and convention. New ideas in psychology, philosophy, and political theory kindled a search for new modes of expression.

Define culture and communication. Once you have given a definition for each term that you are satisfied
write a short answer that explains how these two terms are connected and how they interact.
Answer: What is communication, why do we communicate, how do we communicate, and to what end, are all questions we ask in the study of communication. At its most basic, communication is the exchange of information and meaning. We are constantly communicating, in a wide range of different contexts, such as with each other (interpersonal communication), with different cultural groups or subgroups (intercultural communication), or to large audiences (mass communication), just to name a few. However, to understand communication, we need to understand the place of communication in culture.
Culture as a term is widely used in academic as well as in daily speech and discourse, referring to different concepts and understandings. While the term originally stems from ancient Greek and Roman cultures it has various dimensions today built from the different needs and uses of each field, be it anthropology, sociology or communication studies. For communication studies, we might start by defining culture as a set of learned behaviours shared by a group of people through interaction.
Cultures are not fixed, monolithic entities, but are fluid, always changing and responding to pressures and influences, such as the changing experiences of its members, or interaction with other cultures. However, to its members, the artefacts and even the existence of cultural behaviours and schemas may seem invisible or unremarkable. A culture may even have within it certain subcultures which exist within the main cultural framework of a society, but share within it specific peculiarities or modalities that also set it apart from the mainstream. These subcultures may continue to exist for many years or only a short period of time. They may die out, or may become incorporated into the mainstream as part of this ongoing evolution of culture.
